1. Bring a Photo ID and proof of address to the library.
2. Fill out and sign our simple form. A librarian will assign you a library card number.

Any person five years of age or older who resides within Lincoln County shall qualify for a free patron card. All families living outside of Lincoln County must pay a nominal annual membership fee. Children under the age of 13 must have a parent or guardian’s signature on their registration card.

Libby is free to use with your Canton Public Library membership! Stop in and get a library card if you are a new patron. Current patrons who already have a library card can get signed up for Libby in person or over the phone!

Using your Canton Public Library card, you can access Kanopy. With an extensive collection of narrative and documentary films, as well as TV series and kids content, we’re pleased to bring this streaming service to our community.
Kanopy uses the same library card number as your Libby account.

Clicking the "Notify Me" button on a title in Libby will anonymously let the library know that someone would like it added to the collection. If the title is added to the collection you will receive a notification that it’s now available!
